I was seriously nauseated early this morning (Morningstar meat substitute at 3 am on an already queasy stomach? Not a good idea, even if getting protein into my system made sense at the time), so after my stomach finally settled I took my inhaler and a catnap at around 6am, hoping the tightness in my chest would lessen by the time I'd have to leave for class. Not so much. Got a text from a friend saying our first class was canceled, so I went to sleep for real, only to wake up every 20 minutes to hack up a bit of lung. Missed my second class, called in sick to work, and tossed and turned until I made myself get up around 4pm to go into the city to my internship to get my travel drive I left yesterday, pick up my check, and show progress on my freelance assignment. With said check, I picked up orange juice, silk soy, broccoli, and clementines from Whole Foods for the vitamins, protein, iron, and non-carb breakfast goodies every sick girl needs, then dragged my ass home to bed. Managed to keep down a little food, so that's good. Just completed my comp design project (a book cover for Freud's The Interpretation of Dreams), only now it's 5am and I'm afraid to go to sleep.
